A lot has changed at GIS Company in recent years. These developments did not go unnoticed by our retired former employees, and sparked their interest in visiting their former workplace. We were delighted to fulfil this wish and welcomed a total of 16 former employees to our premises in Schötz on 10 April.

To kick things off, CEO Ivan Muri gave a presentation providing an insight into the development of GIS AG over recent years. The participants then took a tour of the company. For some guests, it had been more than 20 years since they retired. The changes were all the more impressive for it, whether it was the new crane assembly building inaugurated at the end of 2019, the expansion of production areas with modern CNC machines, or the redesigned assembly line for electric chain hoists. During the follow-up reception, impressions from the tour were shared and memories of the past were discussed.

It was a great pleasure for us to welcome so many familiar faces back to our premises. We particularly appreciate the continued interest in and connection to GIS, which still exists many years after retirement.
