Our machinery fleet has grown. A new travelling-column machining centre from the German engineering firm AXA has arrived at our plant in Schötz. The machine, weighing around 31 tonnes, was delivered last Thursday and moved to its designated position in the production hall with millimetre precision.
The machine is currently being set up and prepared for commissioning. Thanks to its large working area and clamping bridge, bulky workpieces can be machined even more efficiently in future. These include, for example, roller carriers for our top-girder overhead cranes.
Through this investment, we are modernising our machinery in a targeted manner, thereby creating additional manufacturing capabilities.
