German-Eritrean comedian Teddy Teclebrhan is currently entertaining audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with his Teddy Show. On 13 November, the tour stopped at St. Jakobshalle Basel, one of Switzerland's most important event locations.

As was the case at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 at the same venue, event technician Malecon Ltd. once again relied on powerful chain hoists from GIS for the rigging of the show. In order to safely position and hold the extensive sound and lighting installation, particularly powerful models from the LP series were used for the German comedy heavyweight. A total of 20 LP2500 electric chain hoists with a load capacity of 2'500 kg each and 10 LPL1000 electric chain hoists with a load capacity of 1'250 kg each were used to lift the trusses equipped with AV technology.

All chain hoists used comply with the D8+ standard and are therefore specially designed to hold loads above people, an indispensable aspect for events of this kind.
